Private Yoga
Many students prefer the attention, instruction and assistance offered in personal yoga training sessions. In these private sessions, students will learn yoga asanas (physical postures) designed to meet their individual goals and/or to help rehabilitate or improve function in a specific area of the body. With the instructor assisting in various asanas, the student is able to experience a stretch, release or loosening of tight areas (especially between and around the shoulders, in the arms and in the hamstrings) that he/she may not be able to achieve on his/her own.
Sessions now incorporate Thai Body Therapy.
Private sessions are appropriate for:
- Beginners who want to learn the basics or learn more about the postures or breathing techniques before joining a large class
- Yoga students who wish to develop a meaningful sequence of asanas (that correspond with their individual needs, goals) for their own practice at home or while traveling
- Yoga students who would like to learn more about or deepen their yoga practice (asanas, breathing techniques, relaxation or mediation techniques or yoga philosophy)
- Anyone who simply wishes to experience the deeper stretch that yoga can offer with the assistance of a qualified instructor and/or prefers the structure and consistency of regular private sessions.
